When an employee is injured and in pain, it is important to get his or her condition diagnosed, evaluated and stabilized quickly.  But healing and rehabilitation can be a slow process.  Without proper case management or comunication from medical providers, it may be difficult to get that employee back on the job, healthy and productive, in a timely and cost-efficient manner.  Sports Therapy, Inc. can help you get injured workers back on the job safely and efficiently.

PROGRAM OF THE YEAR

Our staff of physical therapists, clinical psychologists, licensed dieticians/nutritionists, and exercise physiologists combine expertise to fully prepare injured workers for a safe and successful return to work.  Therapists at each of our clinics are trained though the Roy Matheson Associates (RMA) system of evaluating work tolerances.  This allows the therapist to make appropriate recommendations to the referring physicians and/or case managers while maintaining progress and avoiding undesired plateaus.

Each day, the client will perform an extensive flexibility and warm-up period, job-specific physical conditioning period, and finish with endurance, core stability and work-simulated activities.  Patients will also receive group consultation from our staff Nutritionist and group stress management from our staff psychologist.

"Sports Therapy's Industrial Rehabilitation program offers many treatment options to accommodate an injured worker's specific needs.  A well-diversified staff helps devise a treatment plan for each injured worker to complete a safe, quick and effective return to work.  I am always confident that the injured worker is receiving quality medicinal care at Sports Therapy."
